What is Bitcoin SV?

Bitcoin SV is the result of Bitcoin Cash hard fork back in 2018. It was created to fulfil Bitcoin's original mission of being stable and massively scalable. Hence, the SV in its name is the ancronym for Satoshi Vision. Bitcoin SV uses similar consensus as Bitcoin, which is Proof-of-Work (PoW). The main difference between Bitcoin and Bitcoin SV is the scalability. Bitcoin SV has a larger default block size which is 128 MB. This feature attracts enterprises to use the network as it can handle higher transaction volumes.
