What is Lisk?

Lisk is a blockchain application platform that aims to introduce blockchain technology to everyone. Lisk provides multiple products in order to achieve their goals such as Lisk SDK, Lisk Core and Lisk Service. Users can access to Lisk services with Lisk Wallet which is available through desktop (Lisk Desktop) or mobile (Lisk Mobile). Lisk runs on its own network called Lisk Network, which uses Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism. Developers who requires additional funds may join the Grant Program, and receive 60 thousand CHF (CryptoFranc) stablecoin. At the same time, to ensure security of the network, Lisk incentivises those who managed to find bug within Lisk network through Bug Bounty Program.

LSK is the native token used within Lisk. It has three main utilities; as transaction fee and delegating validators. For each transaction, there is a 0.1 LSK transaction fee imposed. Users may also delegate validators to run the network and get rewarded. The initial distribution during ICO was 100 million LSK, however there is no maximum supply of LSK token.
