SushiSwap is a product of Sushi. It is a non-custodial, decentralized exchange (DEX) that was founded by pseudonymous group called Chef Nomi. SushiSwap is the improvised and user friendly hard fork of UniSwap. It enables users to trade in a permissionless way, peer-to-peer, with liquidity provided by other user. The protocol reserved 0.3% from transaction fees to be distributed among liquidity providers as rewards.

SUSHI is the native token for SushiSwap exchange. It is used as reward for users from transaction fees and also gives users governance rights.
