Clover is a blockchain network with smart contract that is EVM compatible and cross-chain compatible. It is Substrate-based Polkadot parachain. Clover provides multiple features that open up access to omniverse (world of decentralisation). These features are storage layer which supports distributed storage of dApp data, smart contract layer which supports one stop cross-chain deployments and calls of dApp, DeFi protocol layer which supports various basic DeFi protocols such as Swap, Lending, Insurance, etc and eApp layer (External Layer). 

CLV is the native token in Clover Finance. It has a number of utilities such as staking for securing the network, transaction fees, platform rewards, and governance token. Clover is based on Nominated Proof of Stake mechanism, thus both validators and nominators are required to stake their token to participate in block production. CLV is a multichain token, and has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens.
