COTI, Currency Of The Internet is a payment system that attempts to solve the blockchain issues regarding payments between different parties. These problems include low transaction throughput, high gas fees and slow transaction time. COTI provides a payment infrastructure that has 7 elements: scalability (can process over 100,000 TPS), simplicity, buyer-seller protection, cost-effectiveness, price stability, instantaneity and security. The core of COTIs infrastructure is the Trustchain, an innovative, unique consensus algorithm that is based on machine learning. 

COTI is the native token in COTI and its services. It is an ERC-20 token with multiple utilities. These utilities include token staking, payment fees, COTI Pay, service fees and other application fees. COTI is also used as an incentive for users, merchants, partners and nodes to participate in the COTI ecosystem. There is a maximum of 2 billion COTI in circulation.
