Radicle is a decentralised code collaboration network that is built with open protocols. Current code collaboration services rely on central services or networks to ensure seamless progress. Radicle aims to replace this trusted intermediaries with a peer-to-peer collaborations therefore removing any third parties. This is done through Radicle Link, a peer-to-peer replication protocol built on Git.
RAD is the governance token in the Radicle ecosystem. Its main purpose is as governance rights where RAD holders can participate in the governance of the network. In addition to governance, RAD holders are also entitled to discounted or no fees at all when they execute any Ethereum-based protocols on Radicle. There is a maximum supply of around 10 million RAD.
